Rainfall harvesting calculator
To calculate the approximate amount of rainwater you
are likely to harvest, use the following formula:
RA x RF x 0.9
RA = Roof area in square metres, RF = Rainfall
in mm, 0.9 = Amount of total rainwater you would expect
to harvest
eg: 100 m2 x 550 mm rainfall
x 0.9 = 49,500 litres
